After expressing his disappointment with Def Jam last week, it appears that Young Jeezy is making some moves on his own. It was announced today that Young Jeezy’s CTE World label is joining forces with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. The two companies will be forming a new management agency that will handle Young Jeezy and other artists he brings to the table. Expect more details soon.
Tiara Thomas, who is known from her work on Wale’s single ‘Bad’, is currently prepping to release her debut EP ‘Dear Sallie Mae’. Today, we get the first taste from the project with this new single ’4 Dolla Bill’. The track is produced by Rico Love. She is currently signed to Rico One’s Division 1 label in a joint deal with Interscope Geffen A&M.
Jay-Z continues to expand his Roc Nation team and it just got alot stronger. Life + Times have confirmed that Timbaland has official signed with the label. Stay tuned for more details.
Looks like the rumors are true. Word spread earlier today that Drake, although he is signed to Universal, was taking his Octobers Very Own label to Warner Bros. Now Billboard have received official confirmation. Not much details have been revealed but we can expect an official announcement tomorrow.
